His father passed away when he was only 11 year old. Then, Khun Chuchai had to help his family run business. At the beginning, he helped his elder sister operate the gift shop at Indra Mall. At that point, Khun Chuchai has been growing in the jewelry business. He opened the first jewelry kiosk at The Emporium Department Store. When he had more capital, he decided to open luxurious jewelry shop at Central World Plaza under the name of Gempeace by Chuchai.
